Arabian Horse Club of Greater Toledo

AHCGT has been in existence for over 11 years. The original geographical focus was for the Arabian enthusiasts in the Greater Toledo area. However, the current membership is over 120 members and includes members from Ohio, Michigan and Indiana. The club strives to attract members who are interested in Arabians for breeding, showing, trail, and just for enjoying the backyard horse. The club's calendar of events reflects diversity. The premier event is the Glass City Classic All Arabian and Half-Arabian AHA approved horse show held at the University of Findlay Equine and Pre-vet Center. Here, over 130 horses compete in all divisions.

The club also offers a breeder's futurity where an additional $3,000 is added in the payback. In addition to these shows, the club hosts two fun shows and an open all breed show. The club is also involved with other activities such as clinics, team pace events (two), trail rides, parades and many youth activities. The club's youth program is very strong and they have been earning honors annually.
